Portrait of a KCA Graduate

During years of working under the university model class schedule, we desire to partner with parents in cultivating the following in our students:

A KCA graduate is a disciple of Christ.

The graduate has a growing faith in Jesus Christ.  The graduate interprets the ideas through a biblical worldview, yet has a growing awareness of competing ideologies.  The student studies the Word of God, prays and serves faithfully.

The graduate participates in Christian community.

While at KCA, the graduate views fellowship and community as vital and participates in a local church.

The graduate shows initiative and is eager to learn and engage.

Time management skills and a sense of initiative are established in KCA graduates, and this will carry over into their undergraduate careers.

The graduate is able to read deeply and use discernment with reason and truth.

The graduate is well-read, able to discuss topics from throughout history and across subjects in a manner that is respectful and shows a willingness and a desire to continue to learn. Grounded in sound biblical doctrine, the graduate is prepared to further their education from a solid liberal arts base.

The student has learned the art of Rhetoric, being able to speak and write with zeal and eloquence.

The graduate is able to discuss, debate, and disagree with respect.

The graduate has learned to love and serve God and the Kingdom of God.

The graduate has learned to love and serve God and the Kingdom of God by caring for the needs of those around them; defending the defenseless; striving for peace; and exhibiting joy through service and friendship.

With persistence and hard work, the graduate has learned balance, confidence and leadership.

While undertaking a rigorous course load, the graduate has been afforded the time to explore personal interests while relational skills are practiced, and with the encouragement of the KCA community has gained confidence in leadership as they have grown in self awareness of their gifts and how to use them.
