Admissions Philosophy
The KCA admissions process is designed to ensure alignment among families and to preserve the mission of the school. Our goal is to foster unity in the application of Biblical principles in both parenting and education, while protecting the culture of KCA for current and future families. Admissions Requirements To be considered for admission, families must meet the following criteria: •Parents desire a rigorous, classical Christian education within a morally protected environment. •Parents are committed to the discipleship of their children in the Christian faith and are actively involved in a faith-based community. •Parents intentionally protect their children from premature exposure to worldly concepts that compromise the moral innocence of childhood, and support KCA’s shared vision, philosophy, and policies. •Parents understand and agree with KCA’s classical Christian educational philosophy and core values. •Parents attend an informational meeting or campus tour and understand the day-to-day operations of the school. •Parents are willing to serve the school by fulfilling the volunteer requirement (once per student per semester). Uniform Policy KCA requires all students to wear an approved school uniform. Uniforms are intended to: •Encourage Biblical modesty •Inspire virtue and honor •Promote unity within the school community •Foster a shared school identity •Minimize undue attention and materialism
