Misty Newsome is a Certified Public Accountant and owner of Misty Newsome CPA LLC, a woman-owned virtual accounting firm serving service-based small businesses nationwide. With over 21 years of experience in tax strategy, bookkeeping, and financial management, she is passionate about helping entrepreneurs gain clarity, confidence, and control over their finances. Since 2010, Misty and her husband have homeschooled their six children—ranging from their oldest, now studying accounting at Baylor University, to their youngest, preparing for pre-K. As a dedicated community leader, Misty brings her expertise and collaborative spirit to the KCA Advisory Board, supporting its mission to foster growth, innovation, and connection among local businesses.
