Jacki Rucksdashel
Director of Lower School

Mrs. Jacki Rucksdashel has been an educator since 2002 and is a graduate of Texas A&M University. She began her teaching career in Dallas public schools after earning certifications in Elementary and Special Education. After transitioning to a private Christian school, she discovered a love for classical Christian education that continues to shape her teaching today.

Mrs. Rucksdashel has spent much of her career specializing in English, where she delights in helping students develop a love for language, literature, and effective communication. Through reading, writing, and thoughtful discussion of the great works of classical literature, she encourages students to engage timeless ideas and grow as articulate, discerning thinkers.

At Katy Classical Academy, Mrs. Rucksdashel is grateful for the opportunity to teach English through the lens of a biblical worldview. She is passionate about equipping students with the language skills they need to read and understand God's Word, communicate truth with wisdom and grace, and pursue lives marked by faith, virtue, and lifelong learning.
