Laurie Kerley serves as the Upper School Science Team Lead at Katy Classical Academy, where she teaches Biology and Chemistry. She holds an Associate of Arts in Education from New Mexico State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Western Governors University.

Since 2013, Mrs. Kerley has taught a wide range of science courses, including Microbiology, Forensics, Biology, and Chemistry. She is passionate about helping students discover the order, beauty, and intricacy of God's creation through the study of science.

Outside the classroom, Mrs. Kerley enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, swimming, exercising, and caring for her family and animals. She considers it a joy to teach science and to encourage students to explore God's world with curiosity, wonder, and wisdom.
