After 16 years as a full-time singer-songwriter, and then 12 as Worship Pastor at
Grace Fellowship Church, Wayne Kerr has returned to what stirred his creative
heart as a child... his art.

During the past 7 years, this artistic journey has led Wayne on quite an adventure.
This road has garnered him recognition at events across the country including THE
CM RUSSELL auction in Montana, The COORS Western Art Show in Denver, as well
as partnering with such great Texas companies as Buc-ees and Junk Gypsy. Wayne
sees all aspects of this art journey as ministry, and in the last year has done live
paintings for non-profits such as Elijah Rising, BigCancer Care, The Bible Seminary
and many more. This fall, Wayne will have his first ever SOLO ART SHOW at
Brookwood, with a series of new works based on Psalm 23.

The ARTistic Pursuits elective art program brings art instruction and art
appreciation together in exploratory lessons that seamlessly integrate all the
components of a fine arts education. Character and creativity are cultivated with a
view to developing both abilities in self-expression and a look to God the Father as
our model. This class is for those whose passion is art, or for those interested in
developing that passion. The atmosphere of this class is a focus on art in a quiet
classroom environment with group instruction from an experienced teacher.
