Allison Hilbun is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Education in School Counseling. She began her career in public education before stepping away from the classroom to invest in her growing family.

Having attended a private Christian school herself, Mrs. Hilbun experienced firsthand the lasting impact of a Christ-centered education. As she and her husband sought the same foundation for their own family, they discovered Katy Classical Academy and developed a deep appreciation for the classical Christian model. She values its alignment with child development and its emphasis on cultivating wisdom, virtue, and a lifelong love of learning.

In the Grammar School science classroom, Mrs. Hilbun is passionate about creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences that inspire curiosity and wonder. She delights in helping students discover how the order, beauty, and complexity of the natural world reveal the wisdom, power, and character of God.

Outside the classroom, Mrs. Hilbun enjoys reading, sharing coffee with friends, spending time with her family, and serving in the children’s ministry at her church.
